Daily Cleaning

Wash the carafe, filter funnel, and filter basket with warm soapy water after each use. Dry completely before storing.

Clean the Warming Plate (KBG)

Wipe the warming plate with a damp cloth while still warm. Don't let coffee burn on the plate — it affects flavor.

Clean the Shower Head

Remove the shower head and soak in warm soapy water weekly. Use a small brush to clean the spray holes. Rinse thoroughly before reattaching.

Descaling

Perform every 3–6 months depending on water hardness. Use Moccamaster descaling solution or citric acid (1.5g/100ml). Run one full cycle, then 1–2 cycles of clean water to rinse.
